We have updated the Upcoming Conferences page to reflect the most recent information available on the criminological events and conferences that were postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Below is information on those that are upcoming in order of earliest arrival.

The European Society of Criminology (ESC) Conference

The 20th Annual Conference of the ESC that was to be held in Bucharest, Romania from September 9 – 12, 2020 has been rescheduled online for September 10-11, 2020.

The programme book is available for viewing. Please note that the times are listed in Central European Time.

Abstract submission is now closed. You can still register as viewer by filling in the linked form, no later than 3 September 2020. Please remember that all participants must be ESC members.

COLLOQUIUM: SAFETY, RESILIENCE AND COMMUNITY: CHALLENGES AND OPPORTUNITIES BEYOND THE CITY

This colloquium will focus on safety issues in all settings but in particular in rural contexts. Attendees will assess how the on-going Global-Local transformations affect the everyday life of those groups living in most sparsely populated areas. This event will take place virtually on September 29, 2020 from 09.00-16.00 Central European Time.

This event is free-of-charge and will be held in English and Swedish.
