The Rural Criminologist

The Rural Criminologist is the official newsletter of the ASC’s Division of Rural Criminology. The second issue is hot off the press and can be downloaded along with the first issue below. These issues are circulated among the Rural Criminology listserv. If you are not a part of the Rural Crime listserv but would like to be in order to receive the latest news on rural criminology scholarship, news, and event, please contact us.

Future Newsletters

This newsletter is to be published quarterly. We invite submissions of two kinds. First, newsworthy events about which an audience of rural criminologists would be interested. Second, all are welcome to submit brief essays/articles about a rural criminological or criminal justice issue.

We suggest a maximum word length of 2,000. If citations are used, please follow APA formatting. For more information on APA, go to https://owl.purdue.edu/owl/research_and_citation/apa_style/apa_formatting_and_style_guide/general_format.html
